Hello, my name is Joshua David Curtis (aka the Beard, Beastly Beard, Beast..and a combination of all three). I'm originally from Silsbee, a small town in Southeast Texas and I currently live in Austin, Texas. In 2006 I was given a camera as a gift- that gift changed my life. As soon as I started taking pictures I knew that this is what I was meant to do. In 2007 I traveled to Uganda and Kenya and discovered how powerful images can be - while I couldn't always eloquently communicate or write out what I was seeing, experiencing or feeling I could portray it through my images. I love this about photography. I now focus primarily on portraits both for personal and corporate use. I love working with people, collaborating on new projects and am always up for new ideas!When I'm not working on my photography business I am usually thinking about my photography, building something, hanging out with my great dog, Waylon and my even greater girlfriend Melissa.
